1ST ASSIGNMENT

Write a summary of your favourite film/book or video game. You can choose anything you want, but try to write the summary so that somebody who has never heard of the topic, can easily comprehend what it is about.

The summary should be around 350-400 words.

Yes, I'm afraid it is. I chose this many words because you will have to write the same amount in your final exam.

Well, the "assignments" are essay topics which I publish through this blog and which my students are supposed to write. They bring them to class and I correct them. The general idea is of course to assess and improve the writing skills that my students (hopefully) possess.

Of course I know it! It´s one of the best movies. I think i right my first assignment about it. But I didn´t know what the holy grail means. I only watched this movie in german. But it´s really one of the best moves I´ve ever seen.

I couldn't agree more. It was probably the first movie I've ever watched in English (when I was about 11 years old). Needless to say I almost ... ruined my pants when Donovan drinks from the wrong Grail and ages in seconds at the end of the movie.
